3003 aluminum plate
The 3003 series aluminum plate is a common product in the aluminum-manganese alloy series. Due to the manganese alloy element, this product has excellent anti-rust properties and is also called anti-rust aluminum plate.

The strength is about 10% higher than 1100, and the formability, weldability, and corrosion resistance are all good. Used for processing parts that require good formability, high corrosion resistance and good weldability, or work that requires these properties and requires higher strength than 1XXX series alloys, such as kitchenware, food and chemical product processing and Storage devices, tanks and tanks for transporting liquid products, various pressure vessels and pipes made of thin plates, general utensils, heat sinks, makeup boards, photocopier drums, and ship materials.

3003 is an AL-Mn series alloy, which is the most widely used anti-rust aluminum. The strength of this alloy is not high (slightly higher than industrial pure aluminum) and cannot be strengthened by heat treatment. Therefore, cold working methods are used to improve its mechanical properties: It has high plasticity in the annealed state, good plasticity during semi-cold work hardening, low plasticity during cold work hardening, good corrosion resistance, good weldability, and poor machinability. Uses are mainly used for low-load parts that require high plasticity and good weldability, working in liquid or gaseous media, such as fuel tanks, gasoline or lubricating oil pipes, various liquid containers and other small-load parts made by deep drawing: Wire is used to make rivets.
Scope of application
This product is often used in humid environments such as outer packaging, mechanical parts, refrigerators, air-conditioning ventilation ducts, etc. The product has good anti-rust ability.

Heat treatment process
1) Complete annealing: heating 390~430℃; depending on the effective thickness of the material, the holding time is 30~120min; cooling with the furnace to 300℃ at a rate of 30~50℃/h, and then air cooling.
2) Rapid annealing: heating 350~370℃; depending on the effective thickness of the material, the holding time is 30~120min; air or water cooling.
3) Quenching and aging: quenching 500~510℃, air cooling; artificial aging 95~105℃, 3h, air cooling; natural aging room temperature 120h

Corrosion resistance: 3003 aluminum plate has good corrosion resistance, close to the corrosion resistance of industrial pure aluminum, and has good corrosion resistance to the atmosphere, fresh water, sea water, food, organic acids, gasoline, neutral inorganic salt solutions, etc. The corrosion resistance in dilute acid is also very good.
In the cold deformed state, 3003 aluminum alloy has a tendency to spall and corrode. The greater the deformation, the more serious the spalling. Since the color is not uniform after anodization, anodizing treatment is generally not performed.
