5754 aluminum plate

5754 aluminum alloy has the characteristics of medium strength, good corrosion resistance, weldability and easy processing and forming. It is a typical alloy in the Al-Mg series alloy. Scope of application

5754 aluminum plates are widely used in welding structures, storage tanks, pressure vessels, ship structures and offshore facilities, transportation tanks, and those requiring excellent processing performance, excellent corrosion resistance, high fatigue strength, high weldability and medium static strength occasion.

 

Aluminum surface

1. Cracks, corrosion spots and traces of nitrate are not allowed on the surface.

2. The surface is allowed to have peeling, bubbles, surface roughness and local mechanical damage whose depth does not exceed 8% of the nominal wall thickness of the part where the defect is located, but the maximum depth of the defect cannot exceed 0.5mm, and the total area of the defect does not exceed the total area of the plate. 5%.

3. The supplier is allowed to polish the profile longitudinally to a smooth surface.

The national standard for aluminum strip (GB/T 3880-2006) is a unified standard for aluminum alloy strip materials.

 

Heat treatment process

1 Homogenization annealing: heating at 440℃; holding for 12-14h; air cooling.

2 Rapid annealing: heating 350~410℃; holding time 30~120min; air or water cooling.

3 High temperature annealing: heating 350~420℃; when the thickness of the finished product is ≥6mm or less than 6mm, the holding time is 2~10min or 10~30min; air cooling.

4Low temperature annealing: heating 250~300℃ or 150~180℃; holding time 1~2h, air cooling.
